RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — Instead of noisy neighbors, many Richmond residents in the Rocketts Landing neighborhood are dealing with a noisy city facility, many wondering when the noise will stop.
Tracey Toole tells 8News it was the breathtaking city views and convenient walking trails that brought h

8News learned the sound is coming form a vacuum truck responsible for vacuuming and cleaning filters that are discharged into the James River. The project is expected to last until late May. In the meantime, the city is thanking residents for their patience as work on this needed project continues.
Toole says she wishes residents were notified beforehand or once the project started.
“If they had just let everybody know through various channels whether a notice in our bill, or people or people is an email or something, some kind of notification," Toole said. ...read more read less
