FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) - One man is dead following a shooting in Downtown Fort Wayne. According to a press release from the Fort Wayne Police Department, It happened at the intersection of Wayne St. and Monroe St. around 5:41 a.m. Officers responded to the area after receiving reports of gunfire and found a man suffering from gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene. It's unclear what exactly happened that led to the shooting. WANE 15 is working to learn more and will provide all updates as they become available.
