MEMPHIS, Tenn. -- A man is recovering after shots were fired at a Midtown Airbnb overnight, Memphis Police confirmed.
At 2:21 a.m., officers responded to a vandalism/felony call on Clarke Place.
The complainant told officers that he was on the back porch and heard a large argument coming from
a residence on Clarke Place, and shortly afterwards, heard multiple shots being fired from multiple different firearms.
He said that he looked up and saw four unknown individuals enter a silver Nissan and drive southbound on Clarke until they got to the intersection of Court and Clarke, where they continued to fire their weapons and drive away from the scene.

Officers saw multiple bullet holes in the residence. They noticed an open garage and door to the residence.
Inside the residence, officers saw multiple spent shell casings, bullet holes and blood on the bathroom floor.
They also located multiple spent shell casings on the front porch, in the front lawn, on the back driveway and front porch of the complainant's residence.
However, no victims were found on the scene.

Officers later learned that a shooting victim was at Regional One Health.
Officers spoke with the victim and a witness, who told them that they were at an Airbnb in Midtown and an argument broke out.
Shortly after the argument, multiple shots were fired and the victim said he was struck on his left arm by gunfire.
He told officers he drove himself to Regional One.
At this time, officers said that they did not have any suspect information.
Following the shooting, an Airbnb spokesperson issued the following: "We share the Memphis community's outrage over this senseless gun violence and hope the victim makes a swift recovery. Unauthorized and disruptive parties are banned on Airbnb and our Safety team has taken initial action to remove the booking guest from the platform.
