Traffic signal issue at K42 and Maize Road leads to delays

SEDGWICK COUNTY, Kan. (KSNW) — Drivers are urged to use caution at the intersection of Kansas Highway 42 and Maize Road after Tuesday night’s severe weather caused a traffic signal malfunction.
Currently, lights are flashing yellow for K-42 traffic and red for Maize Road, according to a socia
l post from the Sedgwick County Sheriff's Office. Crews are on-site working to repair the issue, but the disruption is expected to continue through Thursday morning’s rush hour, the post said.

Drivers are advised to approach the intersection carefully and follow proper right-of-way rules.
