3 hospitalized after vehicle rolls over in Russian Hill: SFFD

SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) -- A vehicle rolled over in San Francisco's Russian Hill neighborhood overnight on Sunday, according to the San Francisco Fire Department (SFFD). The crash happened just after midnight near the intersection of Hyde and Chestnut Street.
Three people were taken to the hospital as
a result of the crash, SFFD said. Two other victims declined to be taken to the hospital. Photos of the crash show the vehicle being completely flipped over.
"The vehicle came to rest on its roof. One person was trapped and required extrication," SFFD wrote on social media.
A PG&E power pole was damaged after the crash. PG&E crews were called to the scene in response.

The intersection of Hyde and Chestnut Street is located about one block away from the iconic Lombard Street crooked downhill road.
SFFD did not mention whether or not alcohol and/or drugs were a factor in the collision. The department posted about the crash on X at 12:54 a.m. Sunday. ...read more read less
