Woman in critical condition after shooting on North Sherman Drive INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — A woman was critically injured Saturday in a shooting on the city’s near northeast side, the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department says in a news release. At 12:13 p.m. Saturday, IMPD North Distr ict officers responded to a report of a person shot in the 2500 block of North Sherman Drive, near East 25th Street. Officers arrived to the scene and found an adult female with gunshot wound injuries. Indianapolis Emergency Medical Services arrived and transported the woman to an area hospital. She was reported to be in critical condition. Investigators did not immediately provide any additional information.
