GRTC to hold inperson Tuesday meeting for Pulse NorthSouth Bus Route project
Mar 25, 2025
RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — A chance to weigh in on the Greater Richmond Transit Company's (GRTC) latest expansion project is happening at Richmond's Main Street Station.
The Tuesday in person meeting is part of the Spring 2025 Community Engagement for the GRTC Pulse North-South Bus Route project
, which will connect Northside and Southside to the existing GRTC Pulse Route.
On Tuesday March 25, beginning at 5 o clock, GRTC officials will present updates to design plans for the project.
Transportation leaders believe the new routes will support regional growth and help provide equitable access to jobs, education, and community services.
Their prestation's are based on previous feedback collected from the public during the fall of 2024. One thing community members will be able to see is exactly where the proposed bus stops will go and changes coming to 10 corridors, including Midlothian Turnpike, Hull Street Road, Commerce Road and Chamberlayne Avenue.
If you can't attend Tuesday's meeting, there will be a virtual meeting on Thursday March 27, from noon to one o clock.
You can also weigh in through a virtual survey that will be available until April 18.
