Rain/Snow showers this morning with falling temperatures
Jan 18, 2025
Fort Wayne saw its warmest day of the year so far with a high in the mid-40s, thanks to a warm front ushering in warmer air. This does not last into the weekend, unfortunately, as a cold front is passing through this Saturday morning, bringing tumbling temperatures and arctic air.
Temperatures this morning are in the upper 30s to lower 40s across northeast Indiana and northwest Ohio. With the areas of continuing rain, dropping temperatures may result in brief moments of snow, but will not accumulate much at all, less than an inch. As temperatures fall below freezing this afternoon, keep an eye out for slick spots on wet roadways.

Skies stay cloudy for the morning, but some pockets of afternoon sunshine will be possible, although it will still me mostly cloudy. Colder air rushes in throughout the day as well, so you'll need to get the coat back out, although it may not need to be the heavy duty one.
The bulk of our rain/snow showers will conclude by daybreak, but lingering, scattered chances for snow showers stick around for the day. Many will see less than an inch of snowfall.
