University of WisconsinOshkosh biology department receives donation of new, advanced microscopes

OSHKOSH, Wis. (WFRV) - The University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh biology students will study with advanced microscopes courtesy of a donation from the Kimberly-Clark organization.
Multiple members of the University's biology department went to the Kimberly-Clark headquarters in Neenah to pick up their donations, which included computers and software.

A Kimberly-Clark employee and Oshkosh biology alum, Lyndsay Poeschl led the donation from idea to reality.
In a release from the University of Oshkosh-Wisconsin, department members said they're excited to train students on these advanced and higher-tech microscopes.

"These new microscopes will not only advance research at UWO but will provide opportunities for students to learn how to use advanced histology equipment for research and diagnostics," Courtney Kurtz, a faculty member at the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh biology department said.
