Lakewood police are searching for a man accused of groping women around the metro area on an electric mini-bike. The man, who has not been identified, has assaulted women by riding past them on his bike and slapping their buttocks, according to the Lakewood Police Department. Around 3 p.m. on Jan. 1, a woman was assaulted while running on the Bear Creek Trail in Lakewood, west of South Kipling Parkway and east of the Fox Hollow Golf Course, police said. A second woman was assaulted around 3:15 p.m. on Jan. 2 near the intersection of South Kipling Parkway and Yale Avenue, just east of where the first incident happened and near the same trail. Similar incidents have happened in Denver and Sheridan, police said.
