MINOT, ND (KXNET) — Just before noon on Tuesday, January 7, a house caught fire in northwest MInot. According to the Minot Fire Department, crews were called to the 1000 block of 7th Avenue NW for a report of smoke coming from a window air conditioner unit. When crews arrived, they were able to get into the home immediately and put the fire out, making sure to ventilate the affected area. There were no injuries as the house was unoccupied at the time.
