WRENTHAM, Mass. (WPRI) — Police are working to figure out who abandoned a dog at Joe's Rock, a popular hiking spot in Wrentham. The dog was abandoned late on New Year's Day or early on Jan. 2. Police said the dog, who they are calling Joey, was likely neglected based on his "emaciated condition." He had only with a plastic bowl that was licked clean by the time he was found.
