Cold gameday at Lambeau tomorrow
Jan 04, 2025
The Latest Northeast Wisconsin Forecast from Storm Team 5...
While it was bright and sunny out there today, looks were deceiving with highs today only in the teens and with winds gusting to around 25mph, wind chills stayed in the single digits today.
For tonight, plan on clear skies and temperatures falling into the single digits. With air temperatures that cold, any bit of wind will make it feel even colder. Wind chills tomorrow morning will hover between 5 and 15 degrees below.
If you are planning on going to Lambeau tomorrow, you will need to dress for typical January weather in Wisconsin. Mostly sunny skies, temperatures in the low teens for the tailgate, upper teens by gametime and barely peaking into the 20s for the afternoon. Wind chills will sit in the single digits, with low teens for the afternoon. If you reside north of Green Bay, there could be a few additional clouds backing in from the U.P.
Overnight into Monday morning, a storm system passing well to our south bringing snow (1-2 feet for the I-70 corridor), ice and rain will turn our winds briefly to the north east, and that could bring a few lake effect snow showers for Door county and along the lakeshore. Snowfall amounts look generally under 1".
Otherwise Monday plan for morning clouds, with some afternoon sunshine. High temperatures will be warming up close to seasonal norms in the mid 20s. Overall a quiet week ahead, with temperatures at average with the exception of Wednesday. Watching a light snow maker for Friday.
