Help a family in need by supporting the fight against food insecurity in South Texas Texas House Representative Diego Bernal, who represents District 123 in San Antonio, is hosting a food drive this Saturday. Bernal is a huge fan of the Spurs, and those who donate will receive free Spurs tickets while supplies last. Bernal, along with the Spurs, are supporting the San Antonio Food Bank through a Thanksgiving Turkey Drive this Saturday from 9AM to noon at the San Pedro Playhouse parking lot located at 800 W. Ashby Place. A donation of a turkey and two sides will yield two tickets to a Spurs game. The sides listed are green beans, box stuffing, canned yams, mac and cheese, cranberry sauce, gravy packets, canned pumpkin, mashed potatoes, and cornbread. If you can stop by in person, your support would be greatly appreciated. If you live to far to make it, the S. A. Food Bank also has a way to make donations online. Every $15 donated through THIS PROGRAM provides a turkey for a family in need in the region.
