MEMPHIS, Tenn. -- The Lafayette County Sheriff's Office has arrested two men they say were caught on camera spending money stolen from someone else's bank account. Deputies with the department's criminal investigation unit said $6,595 was taken from the victim back in October and used on a Green Dot card. Investigators said they were able to get a transaction history for the Green Dot card and video surveillance showing two men using the card. Mom with disabled child says EBT card stolen Tyler Pardue & Jacob Tomason (Lafayette County Sheriff's Office) Jacob Wayne Tomason, 36, and Tyler Chase Pardue, 25, both of Thaxton, Mississippi, were arrested Tuesday and charged with false pretenses. Tomason and Pardue appeared before a judge on Wednesday and are being held in the Lafayette County Detention Center. They each received a $10,000 bond. Tomason is currently on parole and is also being held by MDOC.
