Stolen gun, meth seized in SE Bakersfield traffic stop

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) -- Officers with the Bakersfield Police Department seized ammunition, methamphetamine and a stolen firearm in a traffic stop on Friday.
Police say just before midnight two officers conducted a traffic stop in the 300 block of Union Avenue on a vehicle with multiple code violations.
Officers searched the vehicle and allegedly found about 4 pounds of methamphetmine, a stolen firearm, ammunition and other items consistent with drug sales.
The driver was detained. According to the inmate booking website, the driver is no longer in custody.
