TOPEKA (KSNT) - An area non-profit hosted its annual Halloween costume collection & giveaway event today.  Hosted by SENT, the event allowed children of all ages to choose from over 1,500 new and gently used Halloween costumes.  All of the costumes were donated over the month of September. SENT founder, Johnathan Sublet, tells 27 news that this event allows everyone to truly enjoy the upcoming holiday. "There was a little kid who told his early childhood education teacher that he wouldn't be able to celebrate Halloween this year because his parents couldn't afford it," Sublet said. "And so they gave us a call and we were able to tell them that we had a resource for them."  This year, SENT also included a unique and free addition with their Child Mental Wellness Fair. Offering resources and activities to support the mental and emotional well-being of children and families. For more local news, click here.
