Nebraska Task Force One Truck. (Jeff Motz/KFOR News)LINCOLN–(KFOR Oct. 10)–More members of Nebraska Task Force 1 are being deployed in the aftermath of Hurricane Milton. Lincoln Fire & Rescue announced that an another 29 members have been sent, as the task force was upgraded from a Type 3 team to a Type 1 team. Those members have joined the rest of Nebraska Task Force 1 in Georgia. Nebraska Task Force 1 has now been reassigned to respond to Hurricane Milton, and the team is currently awaiting specific orders for support. Milton is barreling into the Atlantic Ocean after plowing across Florida as a Category 3 storm. It made landfall Wednesday night in Siesta Key, about 70 miles south of Tampa.
