After our weekend with temps in the 80s, the new workweek is off to a cool start. Monday's high temp was cool and seasonal, hitting the 70° mark. Monday's temps were back at seasonal levels, after a stretch of warm days with highs around 80°. This morning, the Northern Lights were spotted all across Northern Indiana with great viewing conditions. Northern Lights spotted across N IN and NW OH Temperatures this morning have dropped into the bone-chilling 30s! Have that jacket on when heading out the door this morning! We'll see those temps rise after daybreak. Temperatures by 10 AM rebound into the mid-50s. Temperatures get into the 60s at 11 AM. Skies are mostly clear this morning and will stay sunny after sunrise, setting up another beautiful day. While we are mostly clear now, skies will see plenty of clearing and sunshine today. With the plentiful sunshine, high temperatures will reach the lower 70s, with 72° for Fort Wayne. High temperatures around the 70s across the area today. We'll continue to see the trend of cold mornings, followed by warm afternoons, which is quite typical of early fall. High temperatures the rest of the week will be in the 70s each day. From Tue-Thu, our range is from 70°-73°. By Friday, though, some warmer air will be blowing in to give our high temps a boost. So, for Friday and Saturday, temps will reach the mid-upper 70s. From Saturday into Sunday, a front passes through and brings a slight chance of rain. We'll end up just a little cooler on Sunday, with highs in the low 70s, and the chance for a few showers continuing throughout the day. Drought continues across the area.The forecast remains unfavorable for much drought improvement. We'll see quite the chilly start to the next workweek, with highs in the 50s currently in the forecast for Monday and Tuesday. Today: Sunny and seasonal.
