BISMARCK, ND (KXNET) — As we are now in the homestretch of the election, time is limited before finally casting your vote in this year's general election. There's a lot of information to consider before choosing a candidate and making a decision about where you stand on the five initiated measures on this year's North Dakota ballot.This year, the North Dakota League of Women Voters is sponsoring an online voter guide, called vote411.org. The website provides information on all the candidates currently running in this year's general election, along with all the measures up for a vote this year. You can also find more information on your local polling place as well as voting eligibility and requirements. NDDOT to issue Non-Driver Photo IDs in Tribal Nations North Dakota League of Women Voters member, Kathleen Tweeten says the online guide provides an opportunity for voters to get informed about all of the election issues up for a vote this year, before they cast their ballots. "That's what it's all about, is an informed voter," Tweeten says. "In North Dakota, we have over 400 candidates that have put in their profiles. Those profiles can contain their website, links to their website, their Facebook page, other information about the candidates, themselves. But, it also asks them four to five, maybe six questions and so you can compare answers." Tweeten adds that the guide makes it convenient for voters to put in their address and it will tailor the voting information to their precincts.
