BATON ROUGE mdash; The Metro Council has approved a lease agreement that will move the Baton Rouge Police Department's District 2 precinct to the Masonic Building in downtown Baton Rouge.The council authorized the mayor-president to sign a 10-year sublease with Precinct Funding, LLC for the first a nd second floors at 200 3rd St.The deal is set at $500,000 plus operational costs and includes an option to renew for an additional 10 years.District 2 will be relocating from its former station on Highland Road.
