HENRICO COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- A 15-year-old teenager was shot and killed on the back deck of a Henrico County home on Saturday night. On Saturday, Sept. 19, just after 7:30 p.m., officers with Henrico Police responded to a shooting at the 5200 block of Reilly Street, where they found a 15-year-old boy who had been shot and killed in the backyard of a home. Officials said that the preliminary investigation shows that there was an altercation between the 15-year-old victim and a man who was a family member. During the altercation, the teenager was shot and later died on scene A man was detained for questioning, but in an update, officials stated that no charges will be filed against him.
