A South Shore shooting left a 42-year-old man dead and a 15-year-old boy injured Saturday night, Chicago police said.The two were in the 1900 block of East 71st Place around 10:30 p.m. when an unknown person pulled a gun and fired at them. The man was shot in his hip and taken to University of Chica go Medical Center where he was pronounced dead, according to police.
