A 17-year-old was arrested on Thursday in connection with a deadly shooting at an unsanctioned party near Morgan Hill, the Santa Clara County Sheriff’s Office said. The sheriff’s office said the 17-year-old suspect was taken into custody after authorities served a high-risk search warrant at a home in Salinas. He was arrested in connection with the mass shooting at an unsanctioned party in unincorporated Morgan Hill that left one person dead and injured six others on July 25, authorities said. More than 300 people were at the party, according to the sheriff’s office. Authorities said the suspect was identified after the community submitted numerous tips, videos and photos through the FBI’s digital media tip line.
