BURNS HARBOR, Ind. (WRTV) A man who jumped from a moving federal transport vehicle was back in custody after hiding in a marsh for more than five hours Tuesday afternoon in Porter County in Northwest Indiana.The Indiana State P olice says the escape happened near the Burns Harbor exit of Interstate 94.An Immigration and Customs Enforcement officer was transporting the man to a holding facility. On I-94 westbound near the U.S. 20 interchange for Burns Harbor and Porter, the man freed himself from his restraints, jumped from the moving vehicle, and ran north into the brush.A news release issued Tuesday night from state police did not provide the man's name. State police referred questions to ICE and the U.S. Department of Homeland Security.State troopers from the Lowell Post and local officers were part of the manhunt. Police found him cold and wet after hiding in the water for more than five hours.Earlier Tuesday, police described the man as a male wearing a Scarface T-shirt and dark pants.
