Indianapolis Monthly dream home tours wraps up this weekend
ZIONSVILLE, Ind. (WISH) — Interior design and architecture admirers are running out of time to check out the 2026 Indianapolis Monthly Dream Home. Friday marks the start of the final weekend for the annual showcase.
This year’s D
ream Home is 11,366 square feet with 5 bedrooms, 6 full bathrooms and 4 half bathrooms. The house features multiple living rooms, a balcony, a pool, a golf simulator, and an entire wellness wing.
The backyard overlooks the Club at Holiday Farms golf course.
Jennifer O’Connor, owner of Dare2Design, designed the house. She says the home fits into an organic contemporary theme that is popular right now.
“It’s clean lines, but a really comfortable feel as you’re moving through it,” O’Connor said. “You’re layering with warmer tones, layering with different materials to create just cozy spaces within a larger, more modern feel.”
This is the first Dream Home since the 90s that is for sale during tours.
Indianapolis Monthly Special Events Director Abby Broadrick says a lot goes into picking the Dream Home every year.
“This one was a very impressive home, regardless of whether it had a homeowner or not,” Broadrick said. “So we choose our team based on what the house is, the builder and designer. “We knew (they) could produce a very impressive dream home.”
A portion of proceeds from tour tickets will support Morning Light, a nonprofit that helps provide hospice and end-of-life care to terminally ill patients experiencing homelessness or who are low-income.
Tickets are $25. They can be purchased on the Indianapolis Monthly website.
