Terry M. Agnelli, 75, of Vermont, passed away on August 10, 2026. Born in September of 1950 in the Bronx and raised in Connecticut, Terry earned her master’s degree from the University of Vermont and devoted her entire life to nursing. She cared for patients across Vermont and beyond, always bringing the same steady compassion to every shift. In retirement Terry kept right on giving, volunteering at the library and sharing her enthusiasm for sewing with anyone who wanted to learn. She was a kind and gentle soul who loved heading out on adventures with her long time best friend and sweetheart, Mark.  Terry had an immense appetite for books of every kind. She loved a bicycle ride on a fine day, quiet time at camp in North Hero, and adored cats, especially her “Percy with the magnificent tail.”  One of her final wishes was to be remembered fondly by her friends, who are invited to gather for a celebration on her birthday in September where we will share stories and remember the good times. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the local humane society, toward planting a tree, or in support of Parkinson’s research.
