INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — The warmer weather means it is farmers’ market season, and there are a lot of options in central Indiana!
Dr. Candace Florence is with Indianapolis Moms. She created a list to help you find some of her fav
orites this summer and joined Daybreak on Wednesday.

Broad Ripple Farmers’ Market
When: May – September, open Saturdays from 8 a.m. to noon; October, open Saturdays from 9 a.m. to noon.Where: 6001 N. Rural St., Indianapolis. About: Located at the Glendale Town Center parking lot, east of Lowe’s, the Broad Ripple Farmers’ Market is hosted by the Broad Ripple Village Association (BRVA) to support Broad Ripple village development and beautification projects. Binford Market
When: May – September, open Saturdays from 8 a.m. to noonWhere: 6620 Northview Way, Indianapolis.About: Located at Northview Church, the Binford Farmers’ Market is sponsored by the Binford Redevelopment and Growth, Inc. (BRAG). Over 80 vendors fill this space, offering meats, cheeses, fresh and locally grown produce, and fun crafts.
Carmel Market
When: May – September, open Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 11:30 a.mWhere: 10 Carter Green, Carmel.About: The Carmel Farmers’ Market, located at the corner of City Center Dr. and SW 3rd St, right off the Monon at the Carter Green by the Palladium, you’ll find your typical market offerings and then some. Come hungry, enjoy live music, and leave happy at this north side staple. With new vendors added every year, it’s no wonder this is one of the most popular markets in town.
Noblesville Market
When: May – Oct. 10, open Saturdays from 8 a.m. to noonWhere: 175 Logan St., Noblesville. About: The Noblesville Farmers’ Market, located at Federal Hill Commons, is the oldest and largest market in Hamilton County, with more than 100 vendors, and includes handmade items and crafts. Come and peruse the booths, or relax and enjoy the live music while indulging in one of the many food and drink offerings.
Zionsville Market
When: May – September, open Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.Where: 340 S. Main St., Zionsville.About: The Zionsville Farmers’ Market is located in the heart of the Zionsville village at the corner of Main and Pine Streets. In this quaint market, you will find locally grown produce, fresh meat, and eggs. Local restaurants offer made-to-order favorites. Grab breakfast and take time to walk through this charming downtown village. You won’t regret it.
Brownsburg Market
When: June – August, open Thursdays from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.Where: 61 N. Green St., Brownsburg.About: Hosted by IU Health West Hospital, the Brownsburg Farmers’ Market is located on the Brownsburg Town Hall Green. You’ll find fresh produce, baked goods, and handcrafted items. Check out their website for a list of fun activities at upcoming markets, including the Brownsburg Public Library booth.
