(CNN)– A nonprofit watchdog called Common Sense Media says it’s launching the “Youth Ai Safety Institute.” It’s an industry-backed research and testing lab for learning the risks kids might face when using artificial intelligence. The plan is for the institute to provide information abo ut Ai tools to families and set benchmarks for tech firms. Apple’s former Ai strategy chief is on the institute’s board.
