A 16-year-old motorcycle rider is in the hospital with life-threatening injuries following a Tuesday afternoon crash at Floating Feather Road and Eagle Road that forced a 3-hour road closure, reports the Ada County Sheriff's Off ice.Police say that a 2010 BMW S1000 motorcycle was heading westbound on W. Floating Feather Road as a 2005 Toyota Sienna was traveling in the opposite direction. The driver of the Toyota Sienna proceeded to make a right turn onto N. Downing Road, at which point, the two vehicles collided.Responding deputies and paramedics provided lifesaving aid to the motorcycle rider, who was later transported to a nearby hospital with life-threatening injuries.The 54-year-old driver of the Toyota Sienna, who was the vehicle's only occupant, was transported to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.The Ada County Sheriffs Office Collision Reconstruction Team is investigating the incident.
