Fort Worth Police are investigating a shooting involving a police officer at an apartment complex near Texas Motor Speedway. The department said the shooting took place Tuesday morning at an apartment complex near the 3600 block of Outlet Boulevard, south of the race track. Police have not release d any details about the shooting and they have not said whether anyone was injured. Fort Worth Police confirmed the officer involved in the shooting worked for a different police department, and they were there only to assist. Fort Worth Police did not say which department the other officer worked for.
