Step Back In Time With A Very Brady Experience
Apr 30, 2026
Fans of the classic TV show, The Brady Bunch, which ran from 1969 to 1974, will soon have their chance to step inside one of the most recognizable homes in pop culture history with The Brady Experience. You can almost smell the pork chops and applesauce.
The house, which HGTV completely remode
led to replicate the entire Brady household, is officially opening its doors again for limited dates throughout the summer. Tickets will be available exclusively through Bucket Listers, the media experiences brand known for bringing nostalgic eras back to life, like Mariah Carey’s Holiday Bar, The Golden Girls Kitchen, and The Malibu Barbie Cafe.

Owner Tina Trahan, a historic home enthusiast and the wife of former HBO chief executive Chris Albrecht, had previously pledged to use the property for fundraising and charitable events when she bought the home in North Hollywood on the LA River in the flight path of Hollywood Burbank airport.
After opening up last November for a sold-out three-day run, she will now be hosting visits throughout the summer in continued support of Wags and Walks, the local nonprofit dog rescue dedicated to saving at-risk dogs and helping them find loving homes.
From the instantly recognizable living room to the orange and avocado kitchen and groovy décor, every detail has been thoughtfully designed to transport visitors straight into the heart of 1970’s television nostalgia.

Trahan has painstakingly scoured thrift shops and vintage outlets to replicate the home with thoughtful details, like Alice’s ingredients for her cookies on the kitchen wall, Greg’s tiki idol that wreaked havoc on the series, and a letter from Davy Jones to Marcia Brady. The boys’ and girls’ rooms are filled with dolls and details like the Butterfly of Love poster and a perfect replica of the shared bathroom that saw so much sibling rivalry.
It’s not just a walkthrough, it’s a fully immersive journey back in time. There are three paintings that Eve Plumb (Jan) painted for the house, which has been granted historic status by the LA City Council, a push initiated and followed through by actor Christopher Knight, who played Peter Brady.

“What makes this home so extraordinary is the level of care that went into recreating something that only ever existed on a soundstage,” Trahan told LA Weekly on a tour of the house. “The work done during HGTV’s A Very Brady Renovation wasn’t just renovation; it was a kind of archaeological reconstruction of pop culture. Every detail, from the staircase to the finishes, was thoughtfully rebuilt to match what audiences remember, not just what physically existed. My role has simply been to preserve that vision. To me, it’s less a house than a fully realized piece of art, an incredibly precise, almost surreal replica of a place people feel they’ve lived in for decades.”
Due to anticipated demand, guests are encouraged to join the waitlist now to secure early access and be among the first to visit the charitable experience.
