A man was expected in court Friday to face charges that he murdered his 88-year-old mother and concealed the body in rugs and plastic bags in their Roseland home.Kevan Works, 66, is accused of killing his mom, Daniest Graves, who was reported missing by friends and family after being last seen on Ma rch 27, according to a Chicago police report. Police got a search warrant and returned to their home in the 10700 block of South Lafayette Avenue Tuesday morning. While searching the basement, the officers noticed a bookshelf blocking a door to a room, according to the police report. The officers moved the bookshelf and, inside the room, they allegedly found Graves' body wrapped in rugs and plastic bags, according to the report.She was pronounced dead at the scene, authorities said.
