The Bay Area is in for wet weather, including possible thunderstorms, beginning Thursday and lasting through the weekend, according to the National Weather Service. The weather service said showers are in the forecast Thursday and Friday before the rainfall becomes more widespread on Saturday and Sunday. Isolated to scattered thunderstorms are possible Friday through Sunday. Aside from slick roadways, the weather service warned of localized flooding caused by heavy rain showers and/or thunderstorms.
