Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents assigned to help secure Philadelphia International Airport during the government shutdown are expected to leave as early as Thursday. The announcement came during a Philadelphia City Council budget hearing Wednesday. The ICE agents were there to assis t TSA agents, while they worked through the shutdown without pay. Philadelphia was one of a few cities chosen to have ICE agents help passengers through security lines and backups. “The officers that were sent to Philadelphia, from what I understand, were really well trained officers.
