The San Jose Police Department is asking for the public’s help with a death investigation after finding a severely decomposed body inside a vehicle earlier this month. The body was discovered on the morning of March 21 in the area of Francis Drive and McKee Road and has since been handed over t o the county’s medical examiner but remains unidentified, police said. Police believe foul play may be involved in the case. The police department is hoping the public can provide information pertaining to the vehicle and its registered owner, 40-year-old San Jose resident Aldama Refugio Jr., who is listed as missing. He was last seen in early 2026. The vehicle is described as a red 2010 Nissan Frontier pickup truck.
