A California man who was scheduled to appear in court on an auto theft case was arrested Tuesday after arriving at the courthouse with another stolen car, according to police. The Monterey County Sheriff’s office said Ricardo Otero, 41, pulled into the Salinas courthouse parking lot driving a c ar that had been reported stolen out of San Jose. Deputies approached Otero outside the courtroom where he was scheduled to appear for a pending auto theft case. Before he could appear before a judge, Otero was arrested on charges of unlawful driving or taking of a vehicle, commission of a felony while released on bail and driving with a suspended license.  It was not immediately know if Otero had an attorney who could comment. ...read more read less
