INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — There has been an ongoing line of showers and storms overnight west of Indiana. That line will move through Indiana this morning with a low-end risk of severe storms in play.
TODAY: A line of showers and storms moves through central India
na this morning. Lingering showers may persist into the early afternoon until the cold front fully passes. A marginal (1/5) risk of severe weather is in place primarily for wind hail.
Rainfall amounts will be under 1″ for the majority, but we will have to watch for flooding because of the prior wet days this week. High temperatures in the upper 60s with winds gusting 30-35 mph.
TONIGHT: Cloudy skies to start, but clouds start to decrease late. Low temperature around 40 degrees. DON’T FORGET, daylight saving time begins. We spring forward, and our new daybreak time in Indy will be 8:06 AM ET.
TOMORROW: Mostly sunny and gorgeous. High temperatures in the low 60s.
7-DAY FORECAST: Quiet and mild conditions remain into Monday. The Storm Prediction Center has already added parts of Indiana to a slight risk of severe storms late Tuesday into Wednesday. We will monitor as we get closer. Following this system, temperatures fall back below average into the 40s on Thursday.
