San Diego Weather: Stormy weather today, more rain ahead

WIND ADVISORY UNTIL 8PM for South winds 15-25mph, gusting near 45mph at times. HIGH SURF ADVISORY through 4am Thursday with wave heights 5-9 feet, sets to 12 feet.
Light rain moves in after 9am today, winds will increase through the day. Rain will get heavier near the coast shortly after 12pm,
t’storms possible with gusty winds. Heavy rain moves inland through the afternoon and by the time it reaches the mountains, expect high elevation mountain snow above 6,500 feet. Areas like Mount Laguna could see a few inches.
Showers will be scattered this evening with some breaks tonight. Another area of possible heavy rain will move through overnight with mountain snow. Rain totals are expected to be around 1-1.5″ or more through Tuesday morning.
We will be in between storm systems on Tuesday, so rain chances will be lower.
Another storm impacts us Wednesday. This storm will be colder, so snow levels are expected to drop to around 3,500 feet where areas like Julian will see snow.
Rain chances continue Thursday with drier conditions for the weekend ahead, although there will be another West coast storm at this time.
