(KRON) — A 19-year-old faces attempted murder charges after a group of teenagers fired a gun into a Redwood City apartment complex on Thursday, according to the Redwood City Police Department.
Redwood City man Isaac Almanzavillagomez and two 16-year-old boys were arrested following a shooting on
the 1000 Block of Adams Street around 8:51 p.m. PCPD officers responded and found multiple bullet holes in a nearby apartment building and a car with a bullet hole through the rear window. No one was injured in the shooting, according to police.

“Witnesses reported that, prior to the gunfire, several masked subjects walked up to a nearby apartment and banged on the door,” RCPD said. “The door was not opened. The suspects fled the area in a vehicle after firing multiple rounds into the building.”
A “be on the lookout” alert was sent out to surrounding police agencies and license-plate-reading cameras were used in an effort to track down the suspected shooters.
“A deputy with the San Mateo County Sheriff's Office observed a vehicle matching the suspect vehicle traveling on 5th Avenue in Redwood City and conducted a traffic stop,” RCPD said.

Almanzavillagomez was booked into the San Mateo County Maguire Correctional Facility for attempted murder and conspiracy to commit a crime. The 16-year-old suspects were arrested for similar charges and released to the San Mateo County Youth Correctional Center.
