Green Bay will not have Jordan Love on Saturday night against Baltimore. The team announced Friday that the starting quarterback will not play as returns from a concussion that knocked him out of last Saturday’s loss in Chicago. Backup Malik Willis, listed as questionable with a shoulder injury, is expected to get the start in place of Love. The Packers clinched a playoff spot on Christmas thanks to Detroit falling in Minnesota. Prior to that, all signs pointed to Love clearing the concussion protocol and being active against the Ravens. He practiced on a limited basis twice this week and was an active participant in meetings. Willis will be making his third start for Green Bay since being acquired via trade before the 2024 season. He won both of those starts last season in place of an injured Love. He also came on against the Bears last week, going 9-for-11 for 121 yards and a touchdown. The former third-round pick of the Tennessee Titans also ran 10 times for 44 yards. Though the Packers did clinch a postseason berth, there is still a path for them to win the NFC North. They would need to win their final two games (vs Baltimore, at Minnesota) and have the Bears lose their final two (at San Francisco, vs Detroit) to make it happen.
