A full month out from the start of the NFL playoffs, the 11-2 Broncos — per league policy — are preparing their fans for a potential playoff matchup at Empower Field. On Thursday, the club sent an email to its season-ticket holders notifying them of the possibility of buying home playoff tickets . It’s an increasingly likely outcome come January, as the Broncos can officially clinch a playoff berth with a win over the Packers on Sunday and are in prime position — currently tied with the New England Patriots for the No. 1 seed in the AFC — to host a home game in the postseason. The Broncos earned the No. 7 seed in the AFC in 2024, traveling to face the second-seeded Buffalo Bills in a 31-7 loss in the wild-card round. If the club holds onto a top-four seed in the AFC in the final four-game stretch in 2025, a playoff game will come to Denver for the first time since 2015’s Super Bowl season. The Broncos told The Denver Post that 80% of the team’s season-ticket base has already signed up for “Pay as We Play.” For those who didn’t opt in, the Broncos will make a limited number of tickets available in the event of an AFC wild-card matchup or divisional-round matchup at Empower Field. If the Broncos hold on to the top seed in the AFC, they’ll earn a bye in the wild-card round and prepare to host a divisional-round game at Empower Field during the Jan. 17-18 weekend.
