San Diego County expected to remain dry for at least the next 10 days

You might as well stick your umbrella in the closet. San Diego County is unlikely to receive rain for the next 10 days, and daytime high temperatures will be above normal, says the National Weather Service.

San Diego has also been experiencing weak Santa Ana winds that have made the county unusually warm. On Wednesday, Ramona recorded a daytime high of 88 degrees, 7 degrees above the previous record high for that date. Ramona hasn’t been that warm since Dec. 10, 2004.
Forecasters say the temperatures at sunrise also have been notable. It was 57 degrees in Julian Wednesday at sunrise — 23 degrees above normal.
The Santa Ana winds will fade Friday, allowing for the marine layer to rebuild along the coast. But San Diego’s daytime high will reach 71 on Friday, 70 on Saturday and Sunday, and 72 on Monday. The seasonal average is 66.
