Periods of rain this evening are ending and we'll be left with just a few showers lingering after midnight. The best chances for the rain to linger on longer will be found in our southeastern communities, which is why the Flood Watch persists for Portland and Van Wert. Temperatures will drop into the mid-to-upper 30s by the time we get to daybreak Sunday.

Get ready for a return to winter on Monday! While snow accumulation is not expected, a cold front will move through during the afternoon, bringing rain/snow showers to northeast Indiana and northwest Ohio. It will also bring gusty winds and falling temperatures behind the front. With gusts as high as 35 mph, it will feel quite cold outside! Bundle up as you're heading out and about to begin the new workweek.

We'll dry back out on Tuesday, but it will be a chilly April day. We'll start off in the 20s and only reach high temperatures in the lower 40s.
By Wednesday into Thursday, our next system moves in, bringing renewed rain/snow shower chances. This is not good news, as we could use a long break from the rain around here.
However, by the weekend, we turn mostly sunny and temperatures will be on the rise. You can look forward to days back in the 60s and we'll even reach the lower 70s by early the following week. So hang in there if you are tired of the cold and dreary April days!
