We'll have mainly cloudy skies for the remainder of the day as winds shift from the east to the southeast, picking up from 10-20 mph later this afternoon. The breeze and the cloud cover will keep temperatures seasonably cool, with highs in the upper 50s to lower 60s.

A strong system over the Midwest and Plains today will continue to advance eastward, and some of these storms could be on the firm side as they move into our area later tomorrow ahead of a cold front. We'll see highs reach the upper 70s to lower 80s, with winds picking up out of the SW at 15-20 mph, with gusts over 30 mph. The main threats to some of these storms are gusty winds and heavy downpours.
The cold front stalls over our area into Friday morning, forecasting showers before drier conditions later in the day, with highs in the lower 70s.
The weekend will also remain in the 70s, and we'll have some shower chances and dry times. On Saturday, rain will mainly be focused in the morning, while on Sunday, ahead of a cold front, rain holds off until the afternoon and evening.
It will be dry and closer to normal for the start of the next work week, with highs in the lower 60s on Monday.
