MEMPHIS, Tenn. --- A Dyer County deputy was reportedly struck by a vehicle on Friday evening. According to the Dyer County Sheriff's Office, the deputy was struck while responding to a crash on Highway 104. The sheriff's office says the deputy was airlifted to Regional One Hospital in Memphi s. His condition is unknown at this time. Dyer County Sheriff Jeff Box released a statement on the incident. “Our deputy was doing his duty, serving and protecting the community, when this tragic incident occurred," Box said.
