GREECE, N.Y. (WROC) — The latest location of Shake Shack in the Rochester area — currently under construction in front of the Mall at Greece Ridge — looks to serve alcohol. According to a public filing, the location has been granted a 30-day waiver on a comment period, indicating it has app lied to the State Liquor Authority for a license. The SLA map does not show a pending or active license. Shake Shack has been making inroads in our area, with recent openings along the thruway and in Henrietta. A spokesperson for Shake Shack told News 8 over email in January that there is no firm timetable for completion at this time.
