GALLIPOLIS, Ohio (WCMH) – A former cell phone repair person, who pleaded guilty to 40 charges related to downloading nude photos from clients’ phones, will spend the next five decades in prison. According to the Ohio Attorney General’s Office, a Gallia County man was sentenced to 49-to-51 y ears in prison for downloading nude photos from customers who were having their cell phones repaired. Candidate believes Whitehall’s legal challenge to her council race is personal Calvin Jordan, 27, of Gallipolis, pleaded guilty in February to a 40-count indictment. The charges included 36 counts of unauthorized use of a computer, cable or telecommunications property, three counts of pandering sexually oriented matter involving a minor and one count of illegals use of a minor in nudity-oriented material or performance. Jordan was employed by Direct Computing Solutions and was in charge of taking possession of customers’ mobile devices for repair. The indictment stated that between December 2021 and April 2022, he downloaded nude and intimate photographs from clients’ phones without their knowledge. Gallipolis PD and the state Bureau of Criminal Investigations discovered over 40 clients, men and women, were victimized in the process, including minors aged 14-17 years old.
