Significantly cooler Sunday with a few more showers possible
Mar 30, 2025
What We’re Tracking
Few showers possible early Sunday
Cooler for the end of March
Additional rain on the way
After a strong cold front pushed through the area last night, storms developed on the far eastern edge of the viewing area. Most stayed dry but scattered showers moved through
after midnight and now we're in a dry spot. Temperatures are already cooler this morning as we start off in the 30s and 40s.
It's possible we see a few more showers later this morning and even a few snowflakes mixing in for some. Winds have shifted to the north and west and will continue to pick up speed throughout the daytime at 15-20 mph. Afternoon highs will be about 30 degrees cooler as we fight cloud cover and struggle into the low to mid 50s.
The cooler air will stick around for the last day of the month with lows dropping into the 30s early Monday. Winds will back off and we start to get rid of the cloud cover for the start of the week.
We'll start to warm up heading into the start of April with highs returning to the upper 60s and lower 70s. Southerly breezes return at 25-30 mph and gusting up to 45 mph. This is all ahead of our next rain potential.
If you missed out on the rain this weekend, don’t worry! Another chance arrives Tuesday night as an upper trough deepens. This system will bring a chance for a few strong storms and rumbles of thunder overnight into Wednesday.
