Driver killed, two others injured after crash in Massachusetts

FALMOUTH, Mass. (WPRI) -- One teenager was killed and two others were injured after a motor vehicle crash in Falmouth, Mass. on Friday afternoon.
According to Cape & Islands District Attorney Robert J. Galibois, around 4 p.m., the Massachusetts State Police Bourne barracks received several ca
lls for a single-vehicle crash on Route 28 North, in Falmouth.
When first responders and the State Police arrived on the scene, they found a vehicle that was observed off the roadway, down an embankment, with "catastrophic damage."
The driver, 18-year-old Kayden Coombs of Falmouth, was taken to a nearby hospital and pronounced dead, according to Massachusetts State Police.
Two injured passengers were found outside of the vehicle. One person was med-flighted to a trauma center, while the other was taken to a Boston-area hospital. Their names and ages are not being released at this time.
The Cape & Islands District Attorney's Office says its investigation is ongoing.
